Evaluating Democratic values of graduate students in the both government and private universities of the UAE . an Educational L - Research Paper Example The students are selected in a non-random manner from two private and two government universities in Abu Dhabi. The data is collected using a quantitative questionnaire with Likert Style questions, and the data is analysed using excel spreadsheets. The research findings indicate that overall, the students lack in appreciation of democratic values. Also, students who are older, are female and have a future plan of joining the private sector are more likely to have democratic values and imbibe them in their educational lives. It is also found that the teachers do not encourage classroom democracy and the libraries and the campus are not considered to be democratic.
